1. Definition
Logo describes and represents
the meaning of the domain name. It is composed of one black
box that contains two characters (OM)
that represent the country code of the Sultanate of Oman. The
three characters (NIC) stand for Network Information Center.
In addition, there is a world map that represents the global
aspect.
The three elements (OM,
NIC, and World Map) say the following: "The domain name that
would be registered under (.om)
will refer to either the company/organization name or its
activity that reside in the country and
,yet, it is announced globally".
2. Design
It was designed by Internet
Services Development Department
and maintain by Informatics Applications team.
3. Colours
Logo consists of two major
colors: black and white.
