It's the authorized body for registering a domain name under .om Top Level Domain.

In 24 September 2001 and based on Ministerial Decree of the Chairman Board of directors No.44/2001, the Oman Network Information Center - OMnic has started officially handling the registry operations of the Internet domain name for .om Top Level Domain. It handles the operations of Domain Name Registration services and acts as a central registry for all second level domain name registration as follows:
